Cross My Heart Hope To Die
Vita E Morte - EP

Label: Alpha Pup Records
Release Date: Jul-29-2014

Cross My Heart Hope to Die is the eclectic multimedia project of DJ Muggs, producer Andrew Kline, singer Brevi, and curator Sean Bonner. At its foundation, this collective balances tangible art with striking visuals and an all encompassing soundtrack to create a total experience - each element as important as the other. This ambitious project was born from discussions about the particular feeling of mystery and excitement that used to come along with discovering music in the past, but has since been lost with the interconnected and quickly-changing world we live in today. The overall idea of the CMHHTD project plays with the barriers between art and music, musician and audience, and encourages those boundaries to be shifted from one to the other. Accompanying gallery exhibitions and an ambitious series of videos shot all over the world prove that Cross My Heart Hope To Die is much more than just another musical project. The Vita E Morte Gallery Exhibition runs July 26 through August 23 at Shepard Fairey's Subliminal Projects in Los Angeles. The highly conceptual project crosses platforms between the sonic experience and the visual experience. Vita E Morte shows the group playing with the idea that more often than not experiences are thought of as binary something is black or white, alive or dead, music or art. By bouncing between the physical and virtual, between wide release and hidden secrets, between art and band, CMHHTD hopes to bring some wonder back into art and music. The opening reception on July 26th will also include the group's first ever live performance inside the exhibition space at Shepard Fairey's Subliminial Projects.
